Homely hotel in a fantastic location on a quiet loch with wonderful views from the dining area. Attentive staff with smiles. Location near the Ardnamurchan peninsula, a Scottish shore and attached bar / restaurant...

beautiful stay but minor room improvements needed
The garden view from my room was amazing and added to the relaxing atmosphere I sought. The staff showed real knowledge of local history and were genuinely cute .
The room could use some updates to feel more modern.

We enjoyed exploring fine landscapes, visiting nearby castles, and kayaking on the lochs. The hotel had a perfect spot for day trips to see seals and otters. Breakfast was great, and the cozy lounge made our evenings enjoyable. Definitely book your trips to Ardnamurchan Charters for lovely seal watching!
Dinner was a letdown. The menu options were limited, and I was disappointed with the venison burger I ordered. It didn't taste homemade, and the service was lacking, surprising given my expectations from previous visits.

Fine views and tasty food!
The views from our room were amazing. Loved having breakfast with that scenery. The food was super tasty and massive portions! We did get kinda bummed when some menu items were missing. The bar area was cozy, perfect for drinks after hiking. Just heads up, the stairs to our apartment can be a bit steep!

We had a spacious double room with a lake view, really nice. The decor was pretty and felt cozy. The en-suite was roomy too, with nice toiletries and big towels. Everything was clean, and even though we were above a lively bar, we couldn't hear any noise at all. It was super comfortable for our stay.

Fine views from the double room overlooking the loch. The enormous, comfy bed and excellent menu options, particularly the yummy pork belly, contributed to a cozy atmosphere. While some might find the location slightly remote, the warm, cute staff and the attention to detail elevated the experience.

Spent an awesome trip with friends exploring the fine landscapes, visiting ancient castles and enjoying boat trips. We kayaked on beautiful lochs and even went on a mini wild camping adventure. The dining experience was great too with a fantastic menu selection. Just a heads up, some travel routes might require decent navigation skills, especially at night due to detours.

Idyllic Stay with a View
Our two-night stay left us with lovely memories. Despite the small shower room, the fine views from our Basic Double Room made it worthwhile. The cozy bar offered really good local drinks and delicious food, including excellent gluten-free options. A must-visit for nature lovers!

Fine views and cozy atmosphere
I just spent 2 nights here and it was a good experience. The amazing views over Loch Sunart from my room added to the serene ambiance. Breakfast offerings were hearty and featured delicious local produce, setting a wonderful tone for the day. The only downside was that the evening meal options felt somewhat limited, leaving room for improvement.
